Hall Hire Terms and Conditions TERMS OF LETTING 1. All bookings are provisional until the application form is returned and full payment made into the TRA’s bank account 2. The hirer must leave a deposit on £100. Any breakages or damage will be deducted from the deposit. The deposit will be returned once the room is vacated undamaged, in clean and tidy condition and ON TIME. Late departure will be charged at twice the hourly rate per hour. Deposits will be returned within 48 hours. (See also item 11) 3. Cleaning fee: Included at no extra charge, provided the room is left: Floors swept or visibly clean Tables and chairs wiped down and stacked away Rubbish bagged and placed in bins provided Kitchenette left tidy (if used) Where the room needs to be cleaned and tidied a £25 per hour charge will be deducted from your deposit. 4. The committee is not liable for any loss of personal belongings or accident, which may occur while the premises are occupied by the hirer. 5. Fire doors to be unlocked but kept closed while the hall is in use and not obstructed. 6. Music to be kept at a level as to not disturb tenants in the block. 7. Any fixtures, i.e. lighting or decorations to be agreed with the committee. USE WHITE TACK ONLY ON WALLS 8. No alcohol to be SOLD on the premises. 9. Maximum number of people in the hall is 60 (fire regulations) 10. Music to finish at 8.00pm and premises to be vacated by 8.30pm . 11. The Council or any authorised officer has right of entry at all times. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE TERMS COULD RESULT IN THE LOSS OF YOUR DEPOSIT Keys: can be picked up on the morning of the event and should be returned immediately after the event. Best wishes
